Fashion!

This is a clip from GMTV's fashion fix by stylist Mark Heyes. With the fashion and beauty section this is the sort of thing I had in mind where a model would wear the clothes, shoes or accessories and the presenters and stylist would discuss. As our target audience will be teens to young adults and most will be students we will need to find good deals on clothing for the summer range where we could have a task of finding an outfit  for a certain amount of money, making it affordable for students.

Plan for The Morning Show!

With research on breakfast time TV shows in the US and UK a lot of them seem mature and don't seem to invite the younger generation into watching them. So with our Morning Show we are looking to combine the older shows with the younger generation to create something new and vibrant!

I have constructed a plan of ideas of what think would be suitable and engaging for our audience on our Morning TV show!

* Introduction of the show by the presenters (1 boy, 1 girl)
* Fashion & Beauty- The new styles and trends for the summer, including festival atire as it's very popular subject with youngsters. I was thinking we could have people as if they were stylist showing us examples of what's good and what's not on models (e.g. Mark Heyes stylist on Lorraine)
* Popular local Live bands, singers or DJ's, who'd have a chance to perform. Followed by music gigs, events and festival lineups information, informing viewers where to purchase tickets etc.
* Cooking for £5 and under meals- This idea would show students in particular how to save money and still have a nutrious meal (If this plan was to go forward I know a Chef who is prepared to help out)
* Summer shape up!.. This would follow on from the cooking section where it would show a few fitness exercises to help get in shape for the summer, to do in the comfort of your own home!

Things to consider for The Morning Show

* Tone of speech and language used, thinking about our target audience.
* Every person shown on TMS will be scripted.
* Studio and props used- what atmosphere are we trying to foster? Bright, relaxing, comfortable, vibrant, fun?
* Presenters atire needs to be considered
* Timing. As a normal morning televsion show has around 2 hours air time we have to carefully pick and choose what works to fit into the time slot of 8-10 minutes and also what the viewers will enjoy.

Weather studio idea!!

So I found this clip of a demonstration of a virtual news room and I think the first setup looks really cool and would be such a good idea for my group to consider for maybe the weather, gigs, gossip and news sections as we'll be using the green screen for a lot of our project?! Just an idea...

T4 Show

This video is of the chat show T4 which is in the style we are aiming for. The styling of the presenters and guests can't be to formal and will have to be casual relaxed and trendy for the viewers to relate too.  The set is very bright and playful which our morning show will have.

ABC's morning chat show!

This clip I found on youtube is in the style that we are aiming for. The set is very homely and relaxing. The set will be important for our show as it will be representing the playful style that we are aiming for. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hud79l_Fvo

Introduction

So after a few weeks of discussing possible TV programmes I have now joined the group with the idea of the morning TV show for teens to young adults. My original idea was a documentary on Cyber bullying and stalking and the effects it has on the victims. As my idea wasn't a popular choice within the class I was eager to join the group with the morning TV show. The idea of the show is for it to be a vibrant playful morning show inviting teens and young adults to watch when getting ready for university in the mornings.
